Shopify Checkout Application

The Snap Checkout App is ideal to capture customers at the tail end of their shopping journey when they are ready to check out. Your customers can easily apply, and if approved, directly check out on your website using Snap to pay. It supports Cancel, Capture and Refund orders.

Installation steps

Step 1: Installation

Install the Snap UK Checkout App by clicking here.

Please, note that you need to have previously logged in to your Shopify account in order to install the app. (You can log in to your account here)

Step 2: Configuration

Once the app has been installed, you will need to add your Snap credentials.

The Merchant ID, Client ID and Client Secret Key for both sandbox and production will be provided by Snap Finance UK as part of the retailer onboarding process.

Step 3: Activation

The payment methods shown here (Visa etc) are to show which payment methods can be used for the deposit if the customer is approved. Please leave them all ticked.

Enabling Test mode will allow Shopify to use test payments (If this is ticked then you should be using the "Sandbox" option in the Snap Checkout Settings page). ⚠️

Click on "Activate Snap Finance UK Checkout".

This will automatically enable the new Snap UK Checkout payment option on your store.

Step 4: Testing

The installation has been completed!

To verify and view the customer experience, initiate the checkout application flow. The payment method should be displayed as "Snap Finance UK Checkout".

Step 5: Verification

After your customer completes the checkout process, the order will be available in your Shopify admin panel.
